Manitou Operators
Manitou operators are part of our warehouse and construction team they operate Telescopic Handlers (Telehandler). The Telescopic Handlers is a versatile piece of equipment that has a wide range of applications in industry, and can be fitted with attachments such as forks for palletised loads, bucket for shifting dirt/sand/gravel, work platform for elevating personnel or a Jib for use as a crane.
General Tasks
- Performing material handling operations
- Carry out loading and unloading operations
- Land excavation
- Land Drilling
- Load land, cement or stones and unload or transfer to the excavated area
- Placing materials in warehouse storage areas
- Communication with personal to carry out safe elevation practices
Experience
- Current license
- Strong organisational skills
- Completed safety training
- Responsible operation skills
